In our house we love really simple but good meals. This recipe (look here) is an old favorite that we make regularly. While a lot of calzones are filled with pepperoni or sausage, and tomato sauce, this one is a Greek-style calzone full of spinach, onion, ricotta cheese and feta. It’s just yummy. It’s good all by itself, [...]

In January I read an article in Simple Scrapbooks magazine called “12 Months of Memories.” In the article they talk about taking more photos of ordinary days and everyday things. Specifically they suggest taking 12 everyday photos on the 12th of every month. The idea is that these 12 photos will give a glimpse into [...]

My hubby, DA, is feeling neglected. He says all of my posts are about CJ. Well, I said, I am a stay at home mom and CJ is pretty much my job. I have lots more time to take photos of CJ and listen to the funny things he says.
So in the spirit of shining [...]

A neat thing happened to us recently…
DA & I decided to take CJ out to lunch on his actual birthday. Since DA had to work we met him at a pizza joint near his office. As we were eating our pizza we noticed the family next to us had a birthday cake on their table. [...]
